About Us

I REALLY like that while she tells you what you do correctly, she doesn’t keep focusing on it to the detriment of what you’re doing wrong.  While it’s nice to know what you’re doing right, it’s more important to learn how to fix what you’re doing wrong.  I know some people want the accolades, but when I pay for a gaiting clinic, I want to focus on what I don’t know rather than what I do; Robin gives a really nice balance between the two.

Robin's clinic was so fun and informative! I learned that I was making things harder than necessary when working with Tango, my Paso Fino. Robin taught me how to work "with" my horse by using my leg and seat aids properly. Wow, what a difference!"

She is a Master for the amateur owner; she only accepts the best you can do; she congratulates a good ride. She is as excited as you when things are great and she lets you know when they are not. She has an interest in how well her riders do, because that is a direct reflection on her work. She enters the contract with each student with a" can do it attitude" and does not stop until the task is accomplished.

Robin was very clear and gave excellent directions. She adapted her instruction to fit the ability of each rider. The information that she gave helped us sit correctly on our horses which, in turn, improved their performance in each gait. Robin assessed the potential of the two horses we were riding. Critiques were given with sensitivity. We appreciated her honesty.

We learned how to partner with our horse. This will benefit all riders with any event whether we are showing a horse or trail riding. So we would like to give a big thanks to Robin for all she has taught us and for making the trip one of the best!"
